REFLECTION GROUP

Encouraged by parents supporting their children in their First Holy Communion preparation we are holding a series of meetings (5 in total) on Monday evenings looking at exploring our faith further. Meetings are at 7:30pm in the parish hall and are open to all the parish, as well as First Holy Communion parents. The evenings are very informal, with coffee/tea/wine, a half hour DVD presentation and then the chance to chat in small groups. Do come and join us.

SERVICE OF HEALING

On the last weekend of each month we hold a short service of healing following each of the weekend Masses. Please join us if you would like to take part in the Prayer of Healing or receive the Sacrament of the Sick.

SENSE OF PRAYER

An evening of activity prayer and celebration will be held on Wednesday 8th September at 7.30pm in St Michael’s Church Hall. The evening is intended for those in our community with or without learning difficulties. All are invited, we are always in need of helpers. TRAIDCRAFT SALES

The Traidcraft stall will be in the entrance hall after all Masses the weekend of 18/19 September. Fairly traded goods from producers in developing countries will be on sale. Your support helps Traidcraft to fight poverty through trade - practising and promoting approaches to trade that help poor people in developing countries transform their lives.

EXPOSITION AND BENEDICTION

WORLD YOUTH DAY, 10-22 AUGUST 2011, MADRID

A few spaces are still available on the diocesan World Youth Day pilgrimage, from 10-22 August 2011. We’ll be heading to Salamanca for 5 days, followed by a week in Madrid.
